What If the Worst-Case Scenarios Actually Come to Pass? An interview about Some Fine Day with Inter Press Service
These are my spokeskittens. They're very lazy, but they are also very cute. All promotion is handled by the kittens, which probably explains my Amazon ranking.
Happy summer everyone!
I'll confess I haven't been doing a whole lot on Twitter and the blog these last couple of months because I've been obsessed with my new WIP, which I'm thinking of as Sherlock Holmes meets the X-Files, with a dash of Scooby Doo.
And teenagers, of course.
It's set in New York, summer of 1888, and I've discovered that I really like spending hours and hours doing historical research, especially about the city I grew up in. Who knew that thousands of bodies are buried under Washington Square Park, which used to be a Potter's Field?
The only drawback is that I'm always getting sucked down weird little Victorian rabbit holes, like this picture of Miss Kate Fearing Strong, a.k.a. "Puss," wearing an actual taxidermied cat's head to Mrs. Vanderbilt's famous costume ball. I would so have called PETA if they'd been around back then.
Anyway, I do have some new cover reveals and contests on the blog, so check that out. Happy reading and writing!
